Review: Went upstairs an hour after technicians left and there was no power to unit. Thermostat would not turn on. Technicians never turned main switch back on in attic. Tried to sell a new system/part ($5k worth) when there were viable fixes to explore first. Anyone considering using Ernst ask questions and if the answer seems dismissive then trust your gut. My first impression after asking some basic questions at beginning of visit didn’t sit well with me. I’ve owned many properties (personal, commercial and rental properties) so I’ve dealt with many HVAC issues over the years. We just moved here from out of state and our HVAC guy would talk with us about the units and explain things during the process. These guys were just like “still evaluating” “we will do some paperwork and be back in to talk with you” when I asked how things were going during their visit. If you know you need a new system then they will sell you a new system. If you want maintenance fixes on your system then look elsewhere. Waste of $170service call.
